Stall Tales draws considerable material and resources from the first floor bathroom in Anspach Hall on the Campus of Central Michigan University. The graffiti on the dancers' costumes was directly copied from the stall walls and unto the garments. In addition, the text for the piece was also taken from graffiti in that bathroom. By using the childhood game of telephone to explore communication through graffiti, as well as other means and subjects, we hope to convey the strange and specific culture of women's public bathrooms.
